 The Standard Works contain hundreds of scriptures that directly pertain to geology. This page shows many of these which refute many anti-Christian, scientific theories of our day. Many are given to support the oft-dismissed events such as the literal Fall of Adam, Noah's Flood, the Days of Peleg, and other globally catastrophic events. It also shows how the destructions associated with the Second Coming, as part of the "great restitution of all things," give further evidence that disasters occurred in the past.

Geologic Time Curve Correlation

This chart plots radiometrically derived geologic dates with the actual scriptural dates for events such as the Fall and Flood. It also does this for archeological carbon dated events. The curve shown represents the amount of deviation of these dating methods with time. It shows that radiometric dates are not completely useless and unreliable. They are relatively reliable but skewed to give excessively old dates because of false assumptions in calculating initial isotope ratios and decay constants.

Why Darwinism Matters

 This introduction reminds us that both Jesus and Moroni told us that we can determine the truth of any doctrine by looking at its fruits. This paper shows some of the "fruits" of Darwinism. It details Darwin's personal apostasy from Christianity with quotes from his journals and autobiography. It then explains "why Darwinism matters" by showing some of the political and social implications the theory has had on world events. It shows how Carl Marx, Adolph Hitler, and Joseph Stalin all used Evolution as proof for their belief in atheism and how the theory of natural selection influenced their actions.
