Throughout the scriptures, God has spoken of Zion.
Moses 7:18
And the Lord called his people Zion, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in rightousness; and there was no poor among them.

1 Nephi 13:37
And blessed are they who shall seek to bring forth my Zion at that day, for they shall have the gift and the power of the Holy Ghost; and if they endure unto the end they shall be lifted up at the last day, and shall be saved in the everlasting kingdom of the Lamb; and whoso shall publish peace, yea, tidings of great joy, how beautiful upon the mountains shall they be.

Isaiah 14:32; 2 Nephi 24:32
What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD hath founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it.

What It Is

Zion is a place or religious community regarded as sacredly devoted to God. In other words a place where we can come together and share common goals and ideology. It is using the true principles found in the scriptures to help lift us up and those around us, providing a way to live righteously so that one day we can return to our Father in Heaven. Together we can find new ways to become a harmonious community, a people of one heart and one mind, helping others grow and succeed.

Why It Is Important

One of the WRI goals is to create relationships with friends, family and neighbors, people within a small localized community. To gather together and interact with others who have the same kinds of goals and passions based on Christ's teachings. Together as a community of friends and neighbors we can help build Zion one project at a time using principles from the "Fulness of Times".
